Allego Reveals Future of Virtual Sales Training
At Allego’s virtual Sales Success Summit (S3), nearly 700 professionals from over 130 companies engaged with interactive, on-demand sales training content featuring keynotes from Allego leaders and customers, highlighting the shift to virtual training, the importance of employee-centric learning, and unveiling the Allego 6 platform update focused on in-workflow learning, call coaching, and personalized content curation.
Nearly 700 sales, training, and learning and development professionals from over 130 leading companies attended Allego’s S3 Virtual Showcase. Traditionally held in person, the annual Sales Success Summit (S3) was hosted virtually this year due to the impact of COVID-19. The event featured highly anticipated conference content, including executive keynotes and presentations from customers such as Baxter International, Jackson National Life Distributors LLC, and TherapeuticsMD.
The event combined live and pre-recorded content in an interactive format. Using Allego’s proprietary technology, attendees could watch presentations at their own pace, adjusting playback speed, pausing, and rewinding as needed. This flexibility allowed participants to engage with the content according to their schedules, accommodating the challenges of working from home. The platform also enabled collaboration, allowing attendees to add comments and questions for presenters directly into the video timeline.
The event began with a keynote session featuring Allego CEO and Co-Founder, Yuchun Lee, moderated by President and Co-Founder, Mark Magnacca. They discussed the increased importance of virtual training to help employees succeed, especially as teams adapt to physical distancing. Lee emphasized the need to put employees at the center of organizations and to provide what they need to be productive, highlighting the value of teamwork and collaboration. Allego was designed to deliver learning, content, and collaboration in the flow of work to help every employee succeed.
The second keynote, presented by Allego VP of Products Andre Black, offered a preview of the Allego 2020 product roadmap, including Allego 6, a significant platform update. Black focused on helping employees learn in the flow of work, highlighting the importance of call coaching, customizable learning paths, and smarter content curation aligned with teams’ actual usage, behaviors, and outcomes.
Customer Trailblazer Presentations
The S3 Virtual Showcase concluded with three case study presentations led by Allego customers as part of the annual Allego Trailblazer Awards competition. This competition highlights real-world Allego experiences shared by innovative customers. The 2020 Trailblazer Award finalists were Baxter Healthcare Corporation (Tim Kingsford), Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (Annabel Chynces), and TherapeuticsMD (Melissa Bryant).
Finalists were selected from a pool of submissions by a panel of judges, including Nancy Nardin (Smart Selling Tools & Vendor Neutral), Lori Richardson (Score More Sales & Women Sales Pros), and Tim Hagen (Progress Coaching). Attendees voted live during the virtual conference, selecting Jackson National Life Distributors as the 2020 Trailblazer Award winner for its impactful use of Allego’s sales learning and readiness platform. Annabel Chynces shared how Jackson used Allego to improve its Career Development Program and train wholesalers throughout the selling process using video learning.
Chynces commented on the success seen from wholesalers after the initial rollout of the Allego platform and expressed excitement about continuing to evolve training programs and improve communications with advisors in a compliant way.
